We offer a 40-week curriculum focusing on Early Literacy, Numeracy development, and the Four Foundations of Early Learning. Our activities support individual growth and build a strong educational foundation for every child.
Each classroom is led by a Qualified Early Childhood Educator, distinguishing our Centre with unparalleled expertise. Our dedicated team collaborates closely with families and each other, continuously improving care and instruction for optimal child development.
Holistic Care & Nutrition
We prioritize holistic care for each child, including their nutritional needs. Our Chef Lisa ensures that children receive balanced, nutritious meals. Each meal is carefully planned and prepared to support healthy growth and development.
Family Engagement & Communication
When you join Little Beginnings, you become part of our family. We prioritize strong connections with families through the use of the Brightwheel app, which provides real-time updates on your child’s daily activities, meals, and more.
Little Beginnings is more than just childcare; it is a dedicated Learning Centre with a strong focus on early education. Our vision is to nurture each child’s unique abilities and interests while fostering a sense of belonging and interconnectedness. Our curriculum evolves with children’s interests, promoting engagement and excitement in learning.
Our qualified educators implement our 40-week Little Beginnings Curriculum, meticulously crafted around the Four Frames of learning from Ontario’s “How Does Learning Happen?” pedagogy, the "Elect" document, and the "Heggerty Program." The curriculum is comprehensive, tailored to each stage of early development, and designed to evolve naturally as children grow. With our structured, targeted, and explicit teaching style—proven by research as the most effective method for teaching and learning—you will see your child rapidly acquire knowledge and skills.
We prioritize early literacy experiences, including Sign Language for Infants and the Heggerty Program for Toddlers and Preschoolers, to give your child the best possible start. Our STEAM-inspired environment encourages exploration and holistic development through rich learning provocations. Little Beginnings Learning Centres are more than just childcare; we are the first step towards a big, bright future for your child. Here, every child can truly flourish, following their unique interests and passions.
